Poo eating

OK I'm really new to beardies. But i was wondering if its normal for them to eat their own poo. Ours nibbled at his poo a couple times tonite. Should we.be alarmed?

What kinds of insects and greens are you feeding? I have never seen or heard of that behavior in a bearded dragon, but the only thing I can think of is that maybe he doesn't want to be around the smell...they greatly dislike foul odors.

I have seen it happen before....beardie went mad and just ran to its poo when I went to clean it up and ate it. Then he started nipping at our hands when we would go to pick him up. It was like he had mad cow or something....he died shortly after, just saw him one morning laying belly up with a little blood coming out of his mouth. It was a heart breaking situation to say the least. Never knew what happened to him, he was so gentle then just snapped.
