I'm not usually this negative but.... some people need to be punched in the face. I can't stand it when people don't take the time to take care of their animals. I'm glad he found a good home with you though, before it was too late.

I completely agree because people need to stop and look at their selves and think what gives them the right to treat an animal the way they do, like in petshops

Awe poor little thing he looks like the MBD gecko babies i got from a bad breeder deal. Just me but I would also try giving him slurry, I am partial to the slurry with my babies that have MBD, of course I still give them mealworms but I feel that because the slurry has such great substantial substance in it that I think it helps them get all the nutrients they need :D. Just a friendly observation and advice not that I am the best to get advice from but I just wanted to help and put my own two cents in :). Also I am glad he has a new owner now whom has brains :D

Is there any danger of feeding a gecko very quickly to put on a lot of weight? I just know with humans it isn't very healthy to gain a lot of weight fast. Would it be better to have a gradual increase in his diet rather than just "all he can eat"?

Personally I would do gradual just incase they are like humans and get sick. I know that I have a baby with MBD and he ate too many mealies one night and he regurgitated and now he refuses worms.

I agree with the slow feed. I'd be inclined to gradually increase his in-take over a few weeks. He's going to have to metabolize a lot of food to make up for what he didn't get.

Can't wait for updated pics though.:main_thumbsup:
