So I stopped by this demolition place, and found this unit. Im not even sure if its possible to turn into a rack, so I thought Id get everyones advice. She even gave me 40 bucks off cause I was wearing an Edward Cullen sweatshirt (lmfao)...

Here are the measurements:

As a whole:

4' wide
4'10" tall
16 " deep

Each cubicle:

8 3/4" wide
7 1/2 " tall
14 1/2 " deep

Any chance, or is it too small?

I agree, the time and energy you spend trying to retrofit heat and find tubs to work would be better spent building a rack the way you really want it. The height of each cubicle is a bit wasteful and would likely necessitate the use of lids.

well the cubicle is great for a sterilite shoe box 6 qt which is 13 1/2 x 8 x 5 but the actual dimentions as measured by russ is 13 3/4 long x 8 wide and 5 tall if you could find a way to take off that back and place some back heating there is might work great

Robin, would a 6 qt be able to hold adults? or just juvies? And Tony, how much did it cost you to build your rack?

The 6qt box is only good until a leo is about 3 months old, after that the box is too small.

The only way I could see you using it as a rack is to rip the back off, figure out some way to install heat tape and use the tubs. Trying to build doors for each compartment would be too expensive, considering a tub can cost $1ea.

Depending on the construction of the unit, it could be possible to cut a notch into each divider, so that you could lay a strip of heat tape along the back.
