My post from a couple days ago re: Ziggy not eating has disappeared. Am I missing something? Did it get pulled? :main_huh:
You were all right about him eating soon, but I think I figured out why. Last night, Zoe was eating mealworms out of the dish. I dropped one in front of Ziggy and he looked REALLY interested in it. Along comes Zoe hauling over fast as she can. They got into a fight under the log and Ziggy bit Zoe HARD on the back. He actually pulled her skin like half inch up. He finally released her, and thank God, there was no damage. I took Zoe out of the cage and fed Ziggy by himself. Within 3 minutes he chowed down 10 mealworms!
It must have been a dominance thing.
Phew! :main_thumbsup:

I would let them live separately. We house all of our geckos individually and it seems to work out better for all of them. Even when you house 2 females together there can be dominance issues but when you house males and females together you have to worry about dominance and breeding aggression. It's just not worth it, IMO.
