So I finally gave in and decided to buy gutload because I'm tired of grinding up cat/dog food, oatmeal, etc. I've just gotten really lazy :main_laugh:

I have what I hope are "breeding" dubias (Haven't seen many babies but I'm being patient.) and I plan to order 200 Supers every few months until they are well off the ground. I just don't know how many pounds I should order so it would last a few months. Anyone have any suggestions? They come in 1lb, 5lbs, 10lbs and 20lbs.

I order 20 lb. at a time to feed crickets (I get 1000-2000 every 3 weeks or so and change the gutload every time), mealworms (I replenish the beetles gutload every month and periodically add to the mealworms container) and superworms on occasion. I find that the 20lb. lasts me about 9 months and I think it's the best value.

We use it at about the same rate as Aliza it sounds like. We order 1000 crickets and 3000 Superworms every 2-3 weeks. 10lbs of gutload seems to last around 4 months, longer if we have less crickets eating it.

I think i'll try the 10lbs bag because I don't have as nearly as many feeders has you guys, lol. I have around 100 dubias but around 4 adult pairs.

We don't have nearly as many feeders as the people in the previous replies. The 10 pound bag has lasted us a while. I would go with either the 5 or 10.
