Problem with changing bedding

I'm curious to know what you guys use when changing mealworm bedding. I bought a 6 qt. tub to keep all my mealies, aliens, and beetles in together, (I only have 1 gecko) and I can't think of a solution to changing bedding other than picking every single mealworm out and putting them in a separate container while I switch the bedding or some sort of device that sorts out oats, mealies, aliens, and beetles :disappointed:

Hm. If the bedding's reasonably finer than the bugs, can't you sift them out? You'd still have to pick out the mealies or beetles if you wanted to separate those though, I suppose.

You'll have to pick them out this time, but after that, powder the oats in the blender and you'll be able to sift.
