Producing Diablo Bianco

Hi,

If I have a male Blazzing Blizzard, will crossing it with any RAPTOR produce a Diablo?

Pls advise.

No. You would have to breed the babies back to each other unless the both parents are het DB if they are both gets then you might get some DBs.

My understanding;

1) If the parents are both het DB, I will straightaway get baby DB?
2) If they are not (this would possibly the case) I will have to breed the 1st gen babies to each other which will produce 2nd gen DB?

they need to be raptors Het blizzard as they already have the tremper and eclipse trait

a diablo blanco is
Blizzard
Eclipse
Albino (Tremper)

A raptor is
eclipse
Tremper

So you already have 2/3s of the genetics. in a raptor

As for the Male
I think he will have to be HET Eclipse as well inorder to get DBs
(Or maybe he doesnt but you wont get many eclipse babies)

I have a candidate Blazing Blizzard and a SHTCT Raptors, I think this combination will work? Will it matter which one is male or female?

there is no such thing as a SHTCT raptor

unless the raptors are het blizzard you will get trempers het eclipse het blizzard and maybe some raptors het blizzard

Sorry, i was told it is sht het raptor.

Excuse my poor understanding, lets say if i have a Blazing Blizzard, i must only get any morphs with het raptor to complete the combo?

Or if im wrong, can you suggest the easiest combo for this purpose?

a few Trempers het Blizzard het eclipse
and unlikely but possible Raptor Het blizzard

25% Hypo HET Tremper Albino, Blizzard
25% Hypo HET Tremper Albino, Blizzard, Eclipse
25% Hypo Tremper Albino HET Blizzard
25% Hypo Tremper Albino HET Blizzard, Eclipse

Eclipse isnt it black eyed? That is why it needs crossing to raptor to get the red eye?

Albino + eclipse = red since albino can not produce black

Diablo blancos are 3 recessive genes = The Eclipse gene, The Blizzard gene, and the Tremper Albino gene. A blazing blizzard eclipse is a Diablo Blanco.

If you were to breed a Diablo Blanco to a Raptor then all the hatclings would be Raptors that are heterozygous for blizzard (DB).

The only way to get any Diablo Blanco hatchlings would be for all 3 genes (eclipse/blizzard/albino) to be in both parents. They can be homozygous or heterzygous for them but all 3 have to be in their genes.
