I ordered a 8" 3-in-1 ReptiShelter from Zoo Med and just received it today, I'm very happy with how it looks and the size of it. I was reading the back of the box because I had nothing better to do, and it says
"Do not place the ReptiShelter 3-in-1 Cave directly under or over any terrarium heat source."
Should I be concerned about this at all? I was planning on using this as a humid hide replacement for my tupperware container. I was also planning on putting it on the warm side of the tank, directly above my UTH so it stays nice and toasty. Is this a problem...?
I'm guessing they put this on the box so that people don't fry other types of lizards, but I wanted to ask first to be sure there's no issues with the UTH or the plastic the shelter is made out of.
