Question about hatchrite!

So i am a first time breeder and have some questions about hatchrite! I open the package up today to put in a container and felt the moisture. It seems dry compaired to what i thought it would be. It did stick to my hands though. The package has no holes in it because i checked to see it air leaked. I squeezed the medium to see if it would clump and it did a little. For the people who have used hatchrite, is this normal and and how it feels typically?

yup, Its not "wet" but it has like a odd "damp" too it. Ball a handful up (like a snowball) and it pretty much falls apart..your good.
