i am new to breeding and i have read up a lot on it and i think i am ready but there is one thing i still dont fully understand. i have only had a male leopard gecko up until recently and im sure about ovulating. i know how to see if your female is ovulating and i have read that if you introduce a male it may help her start, but will the females eventually always ovulate no matter what and just lay infertile egg if they dont mate?

Most females will eventually ovulate and some females will lay eggs even if they are not introduced to a male. In general, females will ovulate during the breeding season, roughly Jan-Sept and if the male mates with them will lay eggs which may or may not be fertile.

instead of making my own thread,I'll ask here....At what age do the females usually stop producing eggs?
