Question about reverse stripe. Before I buy

I have the chance to purchase this guy for a pretty good price actually. The guy selling states it is reverse stripe het raptor. Just wanted to get some insight. looking up genetics and pictures of leos is making my brain hurt lol..

A reverse strip is just a gecko with a strip down its back.

But you can’t really tell if it’s het raptor or not by looking at it, but it does look like an eclipse line gecko, so chances are good.

Well the het is a bonus, I have been looking at pictures of striped and reverse striped geckos all morning. Seems like everyone has their own opinion on what is reverse and what is not. Anyway I am getting this guy for 75 shipped so I guess I can't complain.

I wasn't going to say anything but... He LOOKS like he might be an eclipse too. Tell me/us if he has any black in the eyes.

I was thinking eclipse too, certainly doesnt look like a normal reverse stripe, maybe its an eclipse reverse stripe het tremper?

its a reverse striped eclipse probably is het raptor. sweet deal if you bought that direct it would probably be labeled as a reverse striped Abyssinian selling for 1500.00

Yea I thought it was a great deal. Paid for and shipping out to me on Tuesday. I will get some more history on him later this eve. I will post it here as soon as I get the info.

Here is an update on this guys linage. It came from this forums very own Ga_herps. It was the off spring of a mack het raptor x raptor. I love breeders who keep good records thanks for everyones help.
