Questions about Snake Eyes

Hi,
So I have a female tremper snow enigma and she has snake eyes. Now the snake eyes thing kinda confuses me, does it mean that she is het eclipse?

Basically, I am hoping to eventually make black holes with her, so if the snake eyes means het eclipse, I'm almost there.

Here's a pic of one of her eyes:

Can someone who's a pro just explain what having snake eyes means?

I too am confused. I have an APTOR. One eye looks solid silver and one is White with a black pupil. I am new to this particular morphology so I'm not sure exactly what is what. All my others have standard eyes besides my Bell which has red eyes and my Enigma with redish eyes.

I thought that too. But all my others are grey with the black pupil. Here is a bad pic.of his silver eye. You can see there's no pupil.

If eye is expressing eclipse even if its very low expression it is eclipse not het. eclipse. Het would mean it carries the trait but dosen't express it.

@ garner63080: The second eye pic of your gecko... it looks severely dehydrated. Maybe it is just the way the gecko is angled but the skin along the stomach should not be wrinkled like that so please make sure it is getting plenty of water.

@ OP: Enigmas can sometimes have Eclipse aka "snake eyes" and not possess the eclipse gene. You will need to test breed to determine whether this is truely eclipse or not. i.e. cross this gecko to an eclipse or raptor. If all the babies, enigma and non enigma, exhibit the eclipse gene (snake eyes) then it would be an eclipse.

So the eclipse gene is compatible with the raptor gene, eye wise I mean? So if my female was an eclipse, breeding her to a raptor (lets leave out her other morphs and just say shes eclipse) should result in eclipses?

Yeah RAPTOR (Red/ruby eyed Albino Patternless stripe Tremper ORange) is essentially a tremper eclipse, its the same genes at work just RAPTOR is an acronym and eclipse is the name for the eye gene in that acronym. Crossing an eclipse or raptor to prove out an eclipse will result in all eclipse offspring.

There are several morphs that can/do have eye pigmentation that are not eclipse. They are:
Enigma
Blizzard
& Super Snow
