Hey everyone, i have some questions about stripes crossings that i m not quite sure, and post them here for my coming breeding plans.

1. Stripes × Jungle = ?
2. Stripes × 'patternless' stripe = ?
3. Stripes × Reverse stripes = ?
4. How to produce bold stripes? Is that Stripes × Jungle ?

Thank you !!:main_thumbsup:

I don't think the genetics of stripes has been well understood. From my experience, stripes x patternless stripe has yielded a full range including jungle, patternless stripe, bold stripe and partial reverse stripe

Stripes x reverse stripes is supposed to yield patternless stripes as the stripes "cancel each other out". I don't know if it will be 100%

I would imagine that stripe x jungle would result in some stripes and some jungles

I think bold stripes go along the heavily spotted/hypo continuum. Most likely bold stripes bred to other bold stripes will produce more of the same and the more hypo geckos will produce less of a bold stripe.

Speaking from my experience:
1. will give you alot of jungles maybe some stripes
2. will give you all known patterns: banded/jungle/stripe/reverse stripe/PS
3. almost the same as #2
4. Boldstripes come out of bold jungles

Just be prepared for anything--stripe projects are very unstable, you'll have to produce many many geckos to get a few really nice ones.

closer to 25% and they don't exactly cancel each other out--it's more like the 'super'/extreme form of reverse stripe (banded/aberrant/jungle/stripe/reverse stripe/PS)
