Ok, i sort of have a couple of questions about feeding.

1. I have had mealworms in the cage and he hasnt touched them, but i had crickets and they disappeared, mysteriously. Once they ran out he had nothing but mealworms for a couple days, didnt even touch them. Why wont he eat them?

2. How many crickets will an adult leo eat in 1 feeding? My leo chomped down 3, and my dad say that was too much.

Yeah, some will get spoiled to crickets & then thats all they want. As for how many they eat in 1 sitting, idk because my leo doesnt get crickets but once a month. I feed supers & wax worms.

Your gecko might just like only crickets, I have one that would only eat crickets until I started him on superworms. As for how many, when I fed my boys adult crickets my high yellow would eat 4-5 and my SHTCT would eat 5-6. I'd just give him as many as he'll eat within 15 mins.

I have had adult leopard geckos eat as many as 10 crickets in a sitting, though not at every feeding. Leopard geckos will usually not overeat. If they do, they may throw up, but then they learn pretty quickly not to do it again. As far as whether or note they'll switch to mealworms, it's a question of who's more stubborn, you or the leo? Usually my leos win.
