Quick question...

I only recently got my 2 geckos... and it was one of their first shedding with me the other day, all went well and the skin came off completely, checked his toes etc but he was all good (very proud of him :D ) it's been 3-4 days now and I've noticed on the side of his belly it looks a bit like cracked skin, doesn't look painful or anything (although I wouldn't really know) and it doesn't seem to be bothering him but just wanted to check it wasn't something serious?

Without a photo it's hard to say what's going on. If it is a little bit of stuck shed you can soak him in a shallow container of water (slightly cool to the touch, 90F) and then pull it off.

Is it on both sides? If so then it is their folds of skin that they are supposed to have. The skinier ones don't have as big folds....

It is the most important to check his toes and eyes, if these are clean, then you can relax, old skin on other place is very easy to come off, you don't have to worry at all.

Thank you zzz888 I was getting a bit worried - but no his eyes and toes are fine its only a small bit on his side.

Also how big should geckos be at 2 months old? I have 2 and one is a lot bigger than the other?

About the size; females are usually smaller than males.
If you got them at same size, and they are the same gender, then make sure:
1: They get same amount of food
2: If they live in different hides, make sure UTH are heating both hides equally. On a UTH, center is always hotter than the edge. I think the best temperature for a leo is between 29~30 degree
3: If your smaller one doesn't catch up in weight, it may get bullied by bigger one. In that case you will have to separate them, which I hope not.

Thank you zzz888 for your advice. I was told that males and females are the same size but I wasn't sure? I also hope we do not have to separate them but the difference in size is just getting bigger and bigger. We have also been told to put a bowl of meal worms in their tank at all the times, which seems to be helping as Leeroy (smaller one) is eating quite a lot of them, he ate about 15-20 in the space of half hour!!!

One just could be male and one could be female. Males tend to grow to be at least 20 grams larger than most females.. of course, there is variance in this as with anything else :)

That is very good that the little one is eating, but I would consider the possibility of having to seperate them regardless, because once they become sexually mature, if either (or both) are males, there can be problems. If you have a male and female, the male will try to breed with the female way too early because the males develop sexually much sooner than females. If they are both males, they will eventually start fighting, as two males can fight to the death.

At the age of two months, you should be able to sex them.. here's a thread with really good pics that can help you: http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=20686&highlight=sexing

We will be separating them in about a months time (when we both get paid) - it will be okay to leave it until then shouldn't it? I don't really want to pick them up to have to look under them... will they be okay if I do this? There is a very big difference between the sizes of them? Although the bigger one was slightly bigger when we got them?

To see if it is a male or female, put one of them in a glass cage with no bottom, and look. That is what I'll do,but my Larry isn't old enough to know.
