Unbelievable... A stingray! There's been tons of hoax death reports on him, but this time it's the real deal... Unbelievable... I'm at a loss for words...

I haven't been able to stop crying either, this really sux!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved to watch him. But they are setting up the "crikey" fund to aid in conservation in his name. http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2006/09/04/irwin_hum.html?category=animals&guid=20060904083000 there's the animal planet statement. There's tons of stuff about him circulating right now. But he was a great person, owned his first croc at the age of 9. That's dedication!!!!!!!! HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED

I thought a croc would get him not a stingray. What a sad day. Not only for us adults that knew what he stood for, but for all the children that he brought the world of animals too in his shows.

I told my son today about it cause I knew he would here it and not believe anyone. After he calmed down he asked me if a croc got him. :(

AOLs News on Steve : http://articles.news.aol.com/tv/_a/crocodile-hunter-dead-at-44/20060904005509990001?ncid=NWS00010000000001

Thats so sad. My nephew has been a huge fan for a long time. He reminds me a lot of Steve. He has that same enthusiasm about animals and I always Said he was going to grow up to be just like him lol. I wonder If he has heard about it. I'll have to give him a call. He is probably pretty upset.

The world of animals and humans has truely lost a friend. Steve was an amazing showman and animal lover. God be with his family.

know what bothers me most....back in 96, I was swimming on the barrier reef....I swam up to a small sting ray and touched it......................it didn't do a thing....they don't normally spook like that, they're a very calm docile animal
