The title pretty much says everything but I live waaay out in the sticks with the closest store for feeder crickets being 20 miles away and meal worms being 40+ miles away. Its really not that far of a drive but sometimes it can be a hastle. I've been considering raising my own feeders. I've managed to raise a small quanity of mealies, but my leo and crested geckos ate them up before I could breed more. I really want to raise my own crickets however I dont really know how about to go about doing that? Any ideas?

Just a thought, but if roaches don't gross you out you can buy a Dubia starter colony at most reptile shows. You can also buy just about any feeder in large quantities to get your colonies started at a reptile show for fairly cheap. I was just mentioning Dubias or even Mealworms would be good (a lot of people raise Leos on only Mealworms), because Crickets smell really bad, really fast... Especially in large numbers. Just some things to think about. :)
