There I was, just doing a regular check-up on my Scaley babies, not expecting to really find anything interesting.

What is that I see? My little lady Prim being a weirdo balancing on her tail up against the wall of her tub? Yep.

Wait.

It can't be.

*squints real hard through plastic tub*

No way.

*takes Prim out to inspect her closer*

It IS!!

I see PORES!!!!

My little lady Prim isn't a lady after all.

I just discovered that my 5-ish year old Leo, Prim, is actually Male! I had looked at her a couple times before but obviously didn't get a good enough look because Prim is 100% Male.

Oops!

Then I get to thinking, "What is another plant name that sounds manly?"

Thorn, formerly known as Prim.

Never would have thought it since Thorn (aka Prim) is smaller and much more slight in appearance than my Female, Gaia.

That's pretty funny. It reminds me of my gymnastics trying to see if my P. klemmeri was male or female. The only way to tell is to wait till it's sticking to the side of the tank and then take a look, but it kept sticking to the side where I could barely fit my head. Eventually I decided she was female and in order to show I was right, she laid an egg!
