They look interesting, I'm just doing research on random reptiles right now. What's their natural habitat, how big do they get, how docile are they? Any pics?
Or I do think sorry.. I also know there is something about them not having a beard. I've also read that most Rankin's/lawson dragons are not pure. And they are quite expensive and rare from what I've seen because I wanted a dragon! But I didn't want the size.
They are smaller then beardies, usually 12-14", and somewhat kept like beardies, they dont need to be kept so hot. Here is one of the better care sheets IMO, only thing I differ with it is the playsand, I personally would keep them on a particle free substrate like paper towels, reptile carpet, slate, tile http://www.sundialreptile.com/care sheet-rankins.htm
I was looking on a website, and I called them about their Bearded dragons, as these are on sale because of "stunted growth." Apparently, these bearded dragons only grow to be about a foot long. Should I trust their judgment? The beardeds are hatchlings right now.
I would recommend you get more info, especially how old/big are they now and how do they know they won't reach full size. You could also put a "wanted" ad on geckosunlimited because I think someone on there had posted about some Rankins dragons he'd hatched recently.
Lllreptile.com has some for sale right now.I love by their store and I saw them. They're pretty cool.the look just like beardeds but have like green or blue between their hind legs.so yea...
