I have bred a snake eyed Raptor X a solid red Eyed Raptor.

The offspring all have solid eyes. I am having a hard time telling if they are dark red or black.

Is is possible they can even be black?

Thanks guys.

no but they sometimes look very dark. You could take a maglite or so and look at the eyes than you should see the m red or take a photo with a direkt flash.

with my full red eyed and my snake eyed eclipse Raptor I get mostly red but some times black but I usually get 90%red eyes, so theres just a chance eyes with raptor raptor cross can produce black, I think dont quote me on this though

So they should always be red NOT black.

As far as I know you can´t get Black eyes on an Albino??? I think these are very dark red eyes due to temp sexingfor female?

That is correct Thorsten, you cannot Produce Black Pigment whether on the Tubercles or in the Eyes. The Eyes will always be Red(Especially a Dark Red if your Temp Sexing for Female)
