Reabsorbing eggs?

I have been reading about how sometimes first time breeders can reabsorb there eggs, my female has the pink in her stomach area but no obvious eggs as i have seen in pictures of gravid females. How can i know if she is reabsorbing her eggs. Also i change laybox materials so maybe she may lay eggs if she is gravid.She is also eating frequently and is getting plenty of calcium.

In my experiance, (and anyone can correct me if I am wrong) pink circles usually indicate ovulation...

We had a female that reabsorbed her eggs this year, she laid one infertile clutch and then never laid anymore. The only way that we knew is because she just didn't lay anymore and was eating normally everyday. I am not sure if there is a definite way to tell or not, but most females do not have interest in food when they are carrying eggs or about to lay them.
