This has been bugging me for a while, I have been looking up on red stripe genetics and everyone has something different to say, some say there recessive others say there poly and some say there both. I reason i ask is i have a red stripe female that im looking to ad to one of my 4 groups (each 1.2) and im just have no clue what to due with her. I narrowed it down to 2 males as each can give some interesting combos depending on what the babies are bred to.

here are the 2 males

reverse stripe eclipse poss het tremper
albino blizzard enigma het eclipse

Im not sure which route to go as she is the odd one as she doesn't really fit into any set group. Im thinking a good start would be most likely the reverse stripe eclipse as i think i will get a variety of different stripe offspring het for eclipse but i could be wrong as im not good with stripe genetics

Thanks,
Bryan

I would breed her to the stripe. Two stripes bred together seem to produce all or nearly all stripes. You could also get some patternless stripes if you're breeding stripe to reverse stripe. One thing I regret about this season is that I broke up my stripe group. I did get some stripe-ish jungles from the stripe to super snow cross, and the stripe to banded tremper cross, but this is the fewest stripes I've produced since my first stripe breeding season. They're going back together next season.
