If you easily offended I think that you should reconsider you availability to this part of the forums. Nudity does not bother me at all. People arguing with people does not bother me.

There are only 3 things that I think should be moderated in this forum.

1. Direct and blatent bashing of a person's personal life (marriage, children and familty members) within reason

2. Direct and blatent bashing of a person's religion. Ill be your friend whether you are agnostic, catholic, Christian, Muslim. This is someones personal choice... leave it at that. ***But if anyone wants to, I am mature enough to not have to read the thread and bitch about it.

3. Underage x-rated pictures should not be tolerated.

While I find this forum pretty amusing.. I wonder if it'd be too much to change the name and have sub-forum since people are hung on the name and the description and keep referring right back to it.

I changed my vote to the last selection due to the pressure that I am feeling of being the only person that feels that GeckoForums.net's integrity could be compromised by this.

edit: I changed my vote back to my original choice. I do not want to be a hypocrite by not stating how I really feel.

I think the last selection is a great idea, although that wasn't my vote (I would like to change it). Having a sub-forum would be good for everyone all around I think.

I agree. Not only is the integrity of this website compromised... but the quality of the website just went down about 5 notches on my scale.... to about a 4/10. I'm sure if you polled the entire membership of this website the results of such a poll wouldn't be so one sided.

It's not that I can't 'handle' this stuff, or even that I'm offended by it... It just affects the way I view the forum as a whole. Removing my access to such an area will not change any of this...

I guess I should buy the domain www.geckobreederporn.com ... as it looks like this will be a hot topic around these parts... I might just be able to make a quick buck...

My personal prospective of a forum is like running an online business... I'm sure we can all agree that in theory any online website that sells things, allows people to sell things, and as this site does, allows people to contribute on community forums is simply an online business(small, large, profit, non-profit). My passion in life is building businesses for people... when I see things like this going on in 'businesses' that I support and contribute to, it changes my view of them...

Those of you that know me personally, you KNOW that I love to kick back and joke around... geeze, hell, tonight I was at a COMEDY CLUB watching TRACY MORGAN do a hell of a lot of R rated live comedy ... I enjoy kicking back and having a great time - when and where it is appropriate.

I'll say it again... anyone that doesn't want to be here doesn't have to be. GeckoForums.net is not a business to me. It's a community. The members of this community that requested access to this particular forum seem to be in favor of it.

I'd have to agree to this. I guess I know people have this side to them but I'd rather not have it involved in a forum like this.

I guess it is the going trend though. I have seen it on Fauna, and other forums I don't really post on much. For that reason, really. A closed forum creates a plethora of closed conversations that just lead to negative things in my opinion. I do however understand this was created for just the opposite reason, I just do not agree with it.

For this reason I will just choose not to be bothered by posts here. It isn't the end of the world, just something I do not favor.

I agree that this type of behavior isn't tolerated in a business, and it shouldn't be. I understand now that is why you don't like it, because this is a business to you. Our geckos are a business to me to an extent, and by all means I will act professional on the main boards and any time you meet me (until I get to know you better..then you never really know how I will be on any given day because i'm crazy as hell lol).. but gecko forums itself isn't a business to me I guess, so that's why I view things differenty. I understand where you are coming from though.

GeckoForums.net is not a business to me. It's a community.

I think as long as there is a warning in the title all is well. we all can decided what and where we want to read and post. It takes a lot to offend me but if for any reason I do get offened I will just move else were to read. We are all adults and I think we should be able to post adult content, I try to find the humor in everything because I have no fun when im up tight.

so much talk of integrity and shit, the fight club has not and will not change gecko forums.

Ive been a member of several forums over the years and almost all of them had an xxx or adult lounge. Shit in my Bodybuilding days i was a member of Steroids.com forums (i never used roids, but was a member of the forums because a bloke i used to train with was a member and he told me it was the best bodybuilding forum and it turned out it was, steroids aside.) and it had an xxx forum, if you think the fight club is bad steroid forums xxx will really shock you.

Nobody forced you to gain access to the fight club, if you don't like it then leave.

I admit i was kind of surprised to see nevs twig and berries on here but it was all in a bit of fun. no big deal.

My crown jewels are bigger though lol

Half the reason i haven't been coming on GF as much lately is because all the bitchin and complaining.
