regular elmers wood glue?

is it gonna harm the lizards if its dry? I made a hut and used glue rather than nails not thinking straight.

I think it's non-toxic. The only problem you will encounter is that you cannot wash it. The joints will not be strong when it gets wet.

I'd consider liquid nails. It would probably be better than elmer's glue. You may consider covering the glue with a sealer, it may make cleaning easier.
