Jason- I hope you and FOrd see many more fun filled, less exciting, evenings together. He needed to be found and obviously he'll be well taken care of. Keep us posted on his progress!

I am so glad that he is eating for you both, Jason and Jill!! I don't want to offend you, but I couldn't help but laugh when you said he wasn't a very good hunter! It reminds me of one of our geckos, who actually snaps at food, but also keeps biting at the air (like she's chewing something) when she misses.. we have a few that aren't really the best of hunters!! Best of wishes to the both of you and Ford!!!!

we Q-tipped the shed off the rest of his head tonight. It was just not coming off after a soak and lots of moist hide action. He looks so much better!

edit* that q-tipping would not have been possible without Jill's amazingly gentle and loving nurturing skills. I must give credit where credit is due.

yayyy! the leo was saved!
for some reason, lost lizards just seem to want you to find them. maybe they realize that without us, they would not have any food. My anole got out recently, but I found him on top of the dresser the other day. i didn't even notice her until she licked my arm!

Wow... now that is amazing that he survived. Especially since we all freak out when the temp in the tank isn't just right or they don't have fresh clean water, etc. What a fighter!

That is great. We lost a hatchling in June and found him a couple week ago. She was a little skinny but not too bad. We have ALOT of escaped crickets and mealies in this house so I am sure she had plenty of things to eat unlike your poor little guy. Hope he continues to recover. I don't think that I'd take Ford on any road trips any time soon,LOL.

yeah, when I chased my anole around to catch him, I found some mealworms that had evidently escaped, even though I thought it impossible.
