Reptile Rooms and set-ups. Lets see them!!

To all of you that have their Racks in the Livingrooms or in the house parted with a door. Do your Geckos smell much? I mean fecales are smelling and when you have 30-100 Geckos doesn´t it stink all round or do you go and clean every evening each tube or are their other tricks to prevent smelling?

I have my geckos in the living room, about 75 of them and it doesnt smell, and i clean Once a week.

We keep our main racks in the living room and two others out in the garage that I'm in the process of insulating.

We clean and feed ever other night and have never had a problem with scent.

My humble set up

Here is my humble set up. I will be adding one more rack, a 5 shelf similar to the one there and thats it. For now???? I too have it in a general space up stairs in a loft area. I only have a small number of animals compared to others . I clean every third day feed every other day and do not have a problem with smell. I find my mealies smell more when left out of the refrigerator for a feeding day.

Strange enough I am Upgrading my rack currently to house MORE geckos!
I have taken pics of my 3 old racks, and a pic of my new breeder/hatchling rack. I am building another rack about half the size of this new one for hatchlings alone. As you may notice I was trying to use ropelight for heat, as it works for some, it did not get warm enough so I am having 70 ft of heat tape overnighted!! You guys have some nice setups! I am very envyous!

first is my 3 older racks the 2 in the bed room hold 28 qt. the other holds 12 qt.

then this is while the geckos were movin on up like george and weezy

And my new set up. Nopt yet complete. still needs the white stuff on the face to make it pretty

my set up 2 melamine breeder racks, 4 ap racks and a homemade rack. im going to get a few hatchling racks from AP next year and eliminate the upper section of the hommade rack. thanks kirk

I got a week off work and just happen to be shopping for hatchling containers today. Here's Casa del Kong, you can see two fair maidens hiding in the top left corner - just like in the movie.
