Reptile Rooms and set-ups. Lets see them!!

Thanks, Nancy. I have dowel shelves and once the kids got old enough for their toys to go somewhere else I filled it with gecko cages. My new klemmeri arrives THurs. morning so I'll take a picture of him in his cage when he gets settled.

It's a big b*tch! Let me tell you...because Ed likes to re-arrange our room every week (for some reason) And our melamine racks are NOT on coasters. So there is plenty of blood blisters, spilt water, cursing words, and etc to go around.

And we haven't even moved out of the house yet!!!

This is one of the reasons I built my own stuff...I PUT COASTERS ON MINE!:main_thumbsup:
I knew I would have to move those heavy suckers, so I made them easy to move. You can go to home depot and buy coasters and attach them to your melamine cages...it will be worth the cost when you have to move them!

I've been following this thread for a while, but just now got the time to post some pictures. Here's our "gecko room". My wife wasn't too excited about giving up our only spare bedroom, but now she loves it!

To the left...My very messy work area...Hopefully shortly I will have it organized...

To the right...Cornsnake & Gecko racks...The Beardies & Monitors are in the backroom, and when my JH cages are done, the Boas are going in the living room...This is all temporary until my tentants move out've the 2nd floor...Then I'm taking over that area and moving everything upstairs so that I can expand.

For those wondering what the wooden thing was w/ the big bracket in the 1st picture...That is a very large cage for our Nile when he's big enough to not get lost in it. The cage is of course unfinished as of yet, but will have the same paneling as the cages seen in the 2nd pic & nice big windows.

I know this is an old thread, but someone came by today, and whenever anyone comes by for the first time, we actually go through and clean everything.

So this is our [reptile] room. Please excuse the poo on the glass, and the hideous bed spread, it looks like someone on acid vomited rainbow all over our bed.

If the first thing that comes to mind isnt "tetris" I must be doing something wrong.

This is only one side of the room, I don't have a pic of the other side. The other side has a 40 & 20 gallon tank, plus a 3 1/2' x 3 1/2' x 2' screened cage for my chameleon. Oh there is also a 4' x 2' x 2' screened cage but that is not in use right now.

Our Reptile Room

I finally got everything put together and pictures taken. We have 2 economy racks from Animal Plastics and 1 hatchling rack which I built. Overall, we can hold 24 15 QT Tubs and 20 6.5 QT Tubs.

Here are a few older pics. It has changed some since. The Small racks are now doubled up to the ceiling, not to mention all are full. lol
It will also be changing again soon. Maybe I'll take some pics along the way.
