Reptile Super Show Pickups 1-8-11!(Leo and a spider)

I went to the Reptile Super Show yesterday in Pomona,CA for my 15th birthday(real birthday's not until the 12th).It was a really great show.I saw lots of cool stuff.I wasn't really looking to spend a whole lot,so I only got 2 thing,but I am VERY satisfied with them.I got the gecko from Avangel Reptiles,and the Tarantula from LLLreptile.Enjoy!

Thanks!This is my first homozygous Bell.I have a Tangerine het Bell male that was produced from Chaz as well.I needed a girl for him,so I got this girl.I tend to get mixed responses about the spiders.I absolutely love them.I've cut back my collection a lot,but still quite a few nice ones.Check out my post in the Invertebrates section on here.I posted pictures of a really pretty species.None of the ones I keep have significant venom.Very mild.

I'm not a fan of spiders either, but I have to tell you, someone else had one and my husband held it...well I wasnt going to be a sissy...so I held it too . I was surprised at how LIGHT they were, I was expecting it to be a lot heavier, and they do feel really cool walking on you (as long as you know where they are, and the situation is undercontrol ) I'd be scared it would get out, or crawl real fast up my arm, and then we'd have a problem...

I will be there.I get to go 2 3 expos a year.I usually choose This one,San Diego,and the NARBC expo in Anaheim.I think Instead of NARBC,I'll be going to the Herpworld just to switch it up.
