Do You still have them on sand?

You really should have quarantined the new gecko...

the male should also be separate becoming gravid at the health condition will almost guarantee death.. although it isnt the breeding season for 90% of geckos

you do not want cross breed albino strains.

its cool man i dont see you being a dick....you are just concerned for the leos. as am I that is why i am here....ok so give me a break down on why its a no no to house the tremper with the radar.
I didnt think about them possibly having a parasite, i can separate them no problem...when i saw they were eating better and being active i just assumed they were under weight and week at first and were now better...

The sand i feel is your opinion though....and all though i agree with your opinion i do feel you were an ass by assuming i had not already changed the sad out for something better. Just like i was an ass for assuming my leos were healthy now.

Not sure if you read all of the thread here but i am haveing a custom setup built so i can house my 40 breeder and geckos as well as conceal them.

im here for help not a fight my friend, help me help them.... i am actually thinking about giving the sick ones to a rescue around here so they are handled correctly. I dont know enough to nurse them back to health.
I apologize for jumping to conclusions. Your first few posts made me think you would "ignore and keep doing what you want". I was the same way when I started and learned quickly and was able to fix my mistakes before any problems arose. The problem with the radar female being house with a male tremper is this: radar has genes from a bell albino, mixing different albino strains together causes a huge genetic mess (search for the thread 'muddy waters' for a better explanation of the mess as it is a lot to type out).

Also, that male definitely needs to be separated from the females until they all reach a minimum of 1 year old and 40 grams (I personally dont introduce males until the female is 50 grams). If your male were to breed your 28 gram female, she would have a very hard time passing the eggs, and would most likely wind up eggbound (which means either a rather large vet bill, or a dead gecko).

If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

and dont mind badhabbits to much.. he was pretty jacked up when he first got here also. :-D

Very much so :)

Nothing about 40 hours of reading and researching didn't fix in a week :p

Now, I have 17 super happy healthy leos, and 1 leo who will hopefully survive rehab :p

I was jacked up to the point that I bought 4 geckos in two days and let them breed from the get go :X But I've learned and separated them not long after, disposed of all the eggs, and am doing things correctly now.

thanks guys, just got off the phone with the rescue center.... giving the three i took in a while back to them...I dont have the know how or means to take care of them or pay for a vet to check them out at the moment. I would rather start with a healthy gecko....the guy before me really just didnt take care of these and i dont think its fair to them that i take them on as a "project"

You need to separate them immediately if not sooner. NEVER just buy another one and put it in with the rest! That's leopard gecko keeping 101. Basic stuff you should know before even owning a leo. I won't even start about owning geckos when you "don't have the know how or means to take care of them or pay for a vet".

i need you to walk to your cabinet and get a chill pill, get some cold milk and swallow that sucker......This is my first venture in reptiles, i kinda fell into this because my brother knew i was looking into leos and so he bought these sick ones from a guy who misstreated them.... he was trying to do something nice for me....I realize i am making A LOT of mistakes, BUT i am doing everything i can to correct everything... I have my brother separating every one right now.

And when i said i dont have the means to take care of them i meant i dont have the means and know how to handle these sick ones, which i dont.

I know that none of this is a reasonable excuse for anything i have done wrong, but i really am doing my best to correct the situation.

I know none of you are being malicious either i know you are just concerned like myself.

one more question....is gravel (like you would use in a snake tank) ok for the leos flooring?

the reason i am asking, is i know the sand can cause impaction, but the gravel would be big chunks of rock and not fine grains of sand....didnt know if the gravel is ok or just stick with the tile.

Tile or paper towels are best. Any substrate with pieces smaller than a large marble can be ingested. If you really want something natural use slate tile. You COULD use large river rock if cleaned thoroughly, but it would be much harder to get steady belly heat and would require a red heat bulb along with a uth. Cheapest option by far is some tile. It cost me $4 for tile to cover my old 40gallon.
