Ok maybe im a complete idiot but does this morph even exist? There is someone local trying to sell this, and to me it sounds totally bogus.

So does that mean a Reverse Stripe SHTCT doesn't even exist? I'm curious about this.

You can have a Reverse Stripe with a carrot tail of course, but the gecko would most of the time just be called a Reverse Stripe. A SHT is basically a gecko that is totally orange from neck band to the base of the tail, so if it has any stripe it would be considered a Stripe or a Reverse Stripe (depending of course on what kind of stripe it has)
You could call it a Tangerine Stripe or Tangerine Reverse Stripe but not a Super Hypo Tangerine.

I have seen a gecko that was born with a reverse stripe that completely faded out by the time it was an adult. I would assume that if the gecko were orange and had a carrot tail technically it would be a reverse stripe tang carrot tail. Usually though it seems that if a stripe is going to be superhypo it's born with few to no markings and is considered a patternless stripe, so I guess it would be somewhat unusual. The gecko in the picture is in no way that I can see a carrot tail and in my opinion its color is marginally tangerine.

I know this gecko is not a reverse stripe, but it would be considered a super hypo tangerine carrot tail, even though it has pattern.

I believe super hypos just cant have any black on their body.

This is my emerine reverse stripe which would be essentially a super hypo reverse stripe

I appreciate the info. I knew the minute they showed me the pic thatbit wasnt what they say it is. I informed the person buying it. I know my SHTCT but it was the rev stripe that threw me off.

The picture you posted is not a fully grown gecko, so the bands have not finished fading away yet. Once it finishes growing up those bands will be gone.

Sometimes you can still see the bands very faintly. As far as I'm concerned, if the bands show up as a different color from the body but there are no black stripes, it's still a superhypo.
