Here's Romeo from Kelli (HISS):

Here's Juliet from Bro. Paul (brightalbino):

Won't they make a nice couple when they get to meet one another next year? But so far, they are not even in the same room yet, so it's love at a distance, heehee :main_laugh: Juliet is in this quarantine tank (sorry for the calcium mess :D):

And this is Romeo's house:

Here is their future home, which arrived last week:

made by Custom Wood Reptile Cage Company. The small cubes separated by glass walls are for the breeder males when they are not breeding. The bigger unit in the middle is for breeding, respectively, for the offspring once the juvies are big enough to catch crickets between rocks, and not on paper towels.

Thanks, Kelli and Paul!!! Your kids are doing very well and are reposing on top of their rock walls now. They had a good transport and didn't seem too stressed. It was good weather for shipping. Our floods are finally manageable; no storms any more (hopefully!!!).

The background is called Habiscape Rock Wall. You can buy it HERE. It comes in different sizes, but it's soft foam, so you can cut it to the right size with a kitchen knife. I use the 10g background and cut off a little for my wooden cages. It fits exactly into Petco's 10g glass cages; no cutting needed. The geckos love to climb it, and lie on top of it!

Those look awesome , cant go wrong with HISS.

How did you make those backgrounds?

I wasn't told about any hets. The male is a HISS Electric, and the female according to brightalbino's website has "bloodlines [that] are a combination of Torrid Tangerine and a select line of tangerine we've been developing over time."

Chrissy

WOW! The glowiness of those two are amazing...any hets, or just pure tangy joy?

Wow, great looking geckos! And omg, that is a GORGEOUS wood caging system! I am SOOO jealous! That must have been expensive, it's giving me a headache as an 18-year-old xD

:D Yeah, I have FOUR of those, but I'm almost 20 years older than you, so you can see where my wages get spent :main_laugh: I just like the cages to blend in with my furniture (hence the matching colors); I don't want any plastic boxes in my house.

That gives you the hope that in 20 years from now, you can be there, too, if you're still into geckos then! At your age, I didn't even know what a leopard gecko was. All that my family had pet-wise were fish and rabbits :main_lipsrsealed:
