What a great time we had!! It was great to meet Marcia in person, and see Dirty Dinky Stuff's booth, as well as Steve and Deb Sykes. My boys enjoyed the show thoroughly, though my youngest was really wanting to come home with a snake............LOL. A balloon snake did for today.
Now I'm thinking about Nephrurus amyae........Steve had some cool ones.............drat it!!
I introduced myself to someone at the booth.............forgot to say I was a GF member. Doh!! I was the one asking about the little water snakes (and had my two boys with me.) It was nice chatting with you guys. (And now I have more thinking to do about snakes that don't eat mice. )
We were at the show Sat. Morning. Came home with a new girl....Thanks Marcia! She's a beauty! Everyone was sooooooo busy, it was fun to see so much excitement.
I wish I could have met everyone, but it was super busy in there the whole time. I did get to chat with Marcia for a few minutes though (and buy a gecko from her)
Well, I just got home from a VERY busy show! Whew. It was great meeting Andrea and Debbie, too! Thanks for your business, GECKOFREAK.... and all the other fantastic customers that went home with Golden Gate Geckos. You guys are what makes the hard work a pleasure.
It was nice to finally meet David and Tamara from 'Dirty Stinky Stuff', and see Greg May from Geckotopia, Steve & Deb Sykes from Geckos, Etc., and Julie Bergman from Gecko Ranch again. There are some really fine people around here who love geckos!
I'm glad everyone had such a great show!! :main_yes: I was very sad to miss it! I had hoped to vend there this year, but my husband was away on a research cruise. He's finally home now, one day too late for me to do the show. He left a day later than he would have liked so I could do the Anaheim show, though, so I can't complain!
I was sneaking around photographing the displays of several of the Gecko Forums members. This was the first show I actually did not buy anything. I still had a blast and saw some incredible animals.
Here are a couple of my niece Violet looking at some creatures:
Hey, there's me at Dirty Dinky Stuff's booth - well, it's the back of my head and my two boys heads (the one holding my arm and the blond in the left hand bottom corner.) See, I was there!!
Great pix, Harold. It was a fun show. Woo hooooooo!!
