it's not that complicated.

if you want to be involved you send you send your name, address and a list of stuff you want to maltgeckos.

they coordinate it so once the signups are cut off you'll get the name/address/list of someone to buy for and someone else will get your list to send a gift to you.

nobody knows who has their list that's why it's called "secret santa," until they get their stuff in the mail from them. the person you're getting stuff for doesn't necessarily have your list

You don't have to get anything too expensive, I mean, you can get anything from a $5 gecko hide to something that's $20.. or make something yourself like others have mentioned
