I've seen one of those geckos with the red spot in person and it is awesome! The color on those is amazing Dan! When you produce some red 'uns...we'll be first in line. ;)

Nice geckos as always Dan. To be realistic, I do not see an all red gecko being produced from a single red "birth mark"... High yellows did not progress to super hypo tangerines in that fasion. The tangerine color did not start as a birth mark. Just keepin it real...

Come on Gregg, does it real hurt to dream? 90%CT didn't just pop up one day did it? That was selective breeding that achieve that ;)

I do agree it's realistic to say they won't hatch a red gecko the first clutch, but it's a great start isn't it?

No Paul, you're still crazy but you are correct.

Thanks for all the comments guys, so far it's just a blotch here and there but they have gotten more common over the last few generations. I don't foresee it spreading out much but at least with this type of thing and some of the Enigmas we know they ARE capable of producing near red pigment.
