lol.
so, 8 days after i hatched a pair of albinos, one ruby-eyed another clutch of eggs hatched with one normal and one albino. 8 days is too short for it to have been the same female laying the eggs (innit?) so i have to assume that one of the other geckos is het for albino. i suspect the hypo female that i got from the local pet shop is the one that's responsible.

anyway, it made my day interesting!

here's pics of the two that hatched today:

I've already had females lay 2 clutches on consecutive days, and other females lay 3 days apart. So not impossible. :main_thumbsup:

Very nice hatchlings by the way!!!!!

Just out of curiosity what are the possible pairings that you have?

male is an aptor het for raptor
hypo female is most likely the culprit since its background was unknown. there are also 3 normal females and a raptor female. the normals were bought from a friend years ago and were not supposed to be het for anything. the raptor couldn't have laid them.

they are laying another round of eggs this month so i'll keep better track. the only reason i didn't was because they were supposed to be all normals het for aptor and possible raptor except for the ones from the raptor female which would all be albinos and easy to keep apart.

that was the theory.
:D

thanks for the replies!
