Sexing Questions

I just want to verify what I think I already know :D I have been checking out the leos at a nearby petshop, which is not a chain. One of the best reptile shops Ive been in. They've had a few leos come and go, and Ive had my eye on one for a while now to go with my 1+ year old 2 females.

Now for the questions. It's half to 3/4 grown, so I think it will fit in ok, I hand feed bullying at feeding shouldn't be an issue. BUT I think it's a male. I think this because it looks like it had 2 distinct buldges behind the rear legs. From searching on here this makes me think male, plus my females don't have it. Sound right?

I don't intend to breed, so if it's a male I probably will avoid it. Unless 1 male and 2 females in a 40 gallon breeder would make good cagemates?

Im only so tempted because they sell nice leos for ~$35, and it's 20% off storewide tomorrow :D Otherwise it's wait until the reptile show in August :(

Any males housed with females will attempt to breed, so if you do not want any babies, it wouldn't be a good idea to house 1 male with 2 females (although it can be done with little problems:))

If you don't want babies, don't get a male. Even if you did want babies it can still be stressful for them to keep males and females housed together.

If their are buldges with pre anal pores it is a male, but yeah they will breed no matter what I keep my two female together and my male by him self

Well, just cuz it has bulges, doesnt mean it is a male. If it has pores, then yes. What I mean is that I have a 5-8yr old female with bulges and no pores. she is definately a female, but I just thought I would express that point of view :D.

Thank you, that's what I was asking in essence. Ive only seen it from the side, haven't checked for pores. Just didn't want to waste my time or stress the leo if it was an obvious answer.
