She ate F/T

Finally! I got the orange female to eat a F/T pinkie. I had the pinkie steaming hot. I used a smaller container instead of the regular sized deli cups. I used a Chick-fil-a brownie container, which has a black base and is overall smaller. It worked. I'm hoping it's not a fluke and she'll continue to eat F/T.

Now, if only I could figure out how to get the male to eat... I've had them for almost two months, and he's not eaten anything. I've tried nearly everything.. Oh and rubbing in gecko poo didn't work.

Wow she's beautiful! I just read through your other post and am so sorry to hear that your anery female passed away. Your husbandry sounds like it's just fine,,,which makes it unusual that you're having so much trouble. The only time my KSB's won't eat is when they are about to shed. Once they complete the process, they're back to their voracious selves. Good luck with your little guys...hopefully you'll be able to truly enjoy them soon, without the drama, as they're wonderful snakes.

Kristi, try a smaller container. That's what did the trick I think. The brownie container from Chickfila worked great.

matt, for the male, I've tried live, F/T tuna, gecko poo, force feeding, and just the extremities. I think I got like one leg down yesterday. Not sure if he spit it back up or not.

Nikki, the anery was doing great too. She just died out of no where. I am still a little upset about that, as I have no clue what happened. I just wish I could get the male to eat. I'm going to try a few more extremities tonight.
