What would cause a juvenile gecko to shed twice in two weeks?

It could just be because it's growing. Have you double checked your tank temps?

its a friend's gecko i gave her as a gift. she said since her mom keeps the house god-awfully cold the uth hasnt reached over 80 so i told her to bump up the heat some. she also said it looks like theres a bruise on it's head, shes sending pictures tomorrow.

Ok. So i finally got pictures.
They aren't good enough to show the "damage" but she said they were all she could get.
She has highlighted the areas of concern.
If there are any suggestions, please, please let me know. She is really concerned.
The scraping on the head is probably due to rubbing during shed. Not sure how the toe got broken, it must have happened in transport.
