My poor lil, snow girl definitely won't be here until tomorrow. But the guy at our nearest Fedex hub said I could drive over first thing in the morning and get her as soon as they've unloaded the truck (about 9:15am). Oh I can't wait to open the box and make sure she's okay.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. By way of encouragement, I had a juvenile gold dust day gecko shipped to me USPS a few years ago that was supposed to be 2nd day air and then was another 24 hours late. The temperature at the time was about 12º. The gecko arrived finally and I thought it was dead until I breathed on it and warmed it up. It's well and healthy in my vivarium now. The shipper was able to get his money back as well.

Aliza thank you so much for telling me that. I've been stressed all day. I'm just afraid for her. But your poor gecko went through a lot worse than my lil gecko has. So that makes me feel much better.

Your little girl should be fine

I 'll keep my fingers crossed for her

I have had numerous mishaps/mess ups with FedEx
I have always been on the receiving end and I used to get nervous every time that I had geckos coming via them -
But my last shipments have arrived on time and geckos were fine

I did notice that my last package that was clearly marked as containing -live harmless leopard gecko and live harmless reptile -was shown more concern by my regular driver than a package that is just marked fragile

He was actually curious about the gecko and concerned that my gecko arrived OK

:main_thumbsup:

Perhaps I might have a gecko convert in my FedEx driver??
LOL

I guess it is all a toss of the dice and depends upon many variables no matter who is the shipper
