Shipping questions

I am wanting to know which carriers you guys prefer to ship your geckos? I have both UPS, USPS, and Fedex near me and I am not sure which to chose. Also with your chosen service...how do I go about getting started? I have a read a lot of info on how to pack them and stuff, I just need to know what to do to get the people at the store to ship them, like which type of shipping and stuff like that. Thanks a bunch guys, soon as I figure this out I have a few for sale.

I have done alot of research here lately since I might need to ship one too and from what I gather USPS isn't a good choice cause there are only very few locations that their express mail will get delivered the next day. So from what I hear their fastest service is normally 2 days and that's too long for a reptile.

It's true that USPS can't normally guarantee delivery times so they're not even an option in my opinion.

As far as choosing between FedEx and UPS, that comes down to your personal choice. Our FedEx hub is pretty close and shipments go from their office, on a truck to the plane, and in the air in an hour so it's a no brainer for us.

Call both the UPS and FedEx locations near you and find out until what time they accept express packages. I would go with whoever accepts packages latest so the geckos have to be in transit less time.

Yup, it is true. USPS is always late when they deliver my mealworms.
