I’ve been researching for a bit of time about gargoyle geckos and am wondering if I can cohab two females? I’ve looked it up and it’s mostly on breeding pairs. I know that it depends on the gecko, I’m fully prepared to house them separately if things go awry and fully intend to do all in my power to prevent that. I don’t yet have either gecko since we’ve been waiting till after we’re home more regularly.

I currently have 2 cages of gargoyles, each with 3 females who have been together for 6 years. First, make sure you have an enclosure that's large enough. I'd say 18"x18x24 is the minimum. Have a backup enclosure in case someone doesn't get along. Make sure they're both females. Introduce them and keep an eye on them. There may be a little nipping in the beginning, or not. If one seems to be preventing the other from eating, or if one is getting scratched up, separate them.
