How often do you folks feed the little ones?
My girl is about 3 months old, and when I feed in the evening, she acts like she is STARVING. She gets really excited when she sees me with the crics.
Today, she ate 2 waxies, 10 mealies and 4 cricks!! :D
I'm thinking I should feed twice a day instead of once!

Maybe a small dish of mealies in the morning, then dinner as usual in the evening!?

I dont want a starved gecko, but I dont want a fat one either! :main_no:

Good thing is, she will eat anything! She even eats the legs that break off the cricks!!!

I feed a lot of mealworms every evening. The ones who are growing like weeds empty their dishes, but they're getting sometimes as much as 20 mealworms each.

I feed mine at night, but I leave mealworms in all day for the babies.

Do you just put the mealies in a bowl and provide some carrot or something for them to eat and keep from drying out?

I gave her 4 mealies at about 5:30am and they were gone when I checked 5 mins later. So I guess I have to serve breakfast for a while!! :D

I just keep them in a bowl with vitamins/calcium. If they don't eat them, I just replace them the next evening during feeding. I gutload the mealworms before I put them in the dishes for everyone.

Ok, now I've done it!
I have been feeding her 4 to 6 mealies every morning, and now she
is used to that routeen. Usually she is spralled out on top of her hiding cave at 5:30am, now she stands in the corner ( where the crics get dropped with my feeding tweezers) waiting for breakfast!! :)
Looks like I've had to add another thing to my morning routeen!! ;)
