the Cable TV is a must liz. lets say i have watch my share of movies, news, reality tv, sports, ect ect....... The music channels are great to have as well.
right now its about 20-30 hours a week in there. full blast i dont even want to know the hours i will spend in there in a couple of months. :main_no:
all i need is a bed in there and i could call it home hahahahah
I have showed these pics before, so here they are again, lol:
My boy's room:
I have 9 vivariums in there, each one is 45cm x 60cm, except Lemzip's tank which is the one with fake plants in front. Only 6 is occupied at the moment, which means I have room for new additions! Yay!
The girls used to share the study with me, but I'm doing a relocation at the moment, so I'll show pics of the girl's room later. They are moving to the entrance/store area.
Lol, Matt I am so terribly jealous of your.. uh... the system you have going there (yes, that is what I will call it). In addition to already being jealous over the amount of geckos you must have inhabiting them, lol.
Those are amazing looking cages Bonie. I love the look of the room in general.
It is very hard to make a living breeding geckos. IMO you cant think you can breed geckos and have the money to do all the things that you want to do. it can be done but its is very very hard. Times when these when it is slow and the economy is not so good there is no way you can live off it. you can make money on breeding but again alot of breeders put alot of money into there geckos (Racks, food, electric, vet bills, buying tables for shows, websites, ect ect) i would always say if you want to do it, dont quit your day job. to me it is a hobby but a very large hobby. It now pays for it self. but it dosen't pay for me. :main_thumbsup:
I'll need to get new pictures, but I've got book shelf enclosures. Someone else made them and I bought them for $125. Each one is 6' tall, with an empty shelf on the top and the bottom (I use them for books..lol, supplies and eventually spare tanks) and they're 3' wide, 1' deep. ('-foot). Each has 3 cages. I've got 2 of them. The fronts are made of plexi glass.
Heres a work in progress pic, not everyones set ups are complete:
