yes, my grits have to be juuuuuust right, nice a creamy with cheese, salt, butter, and sometimes some fresh bacon, THAT is the best!

My mom used to take the leftover grits and spread them out in a shallow pan until they got stiff, and then slice it up and fry the strips and serve it with country sausage gravy all over them. Mmmmmmmm!!!

I've been to that Country Cafe with my Grandma before! That was a few years back At least I think its the same one if it's near her house. I've never tried Grits before, but my dad's mom and family used to have them all the time. Where in Oklahoma? My dad's family is from Poteau. I've always wanted to go there and see places that have always been talked about at family get-togethers.

We got our gift today! Bret was our SS and he invited us over to have dinner and get our gift! We got to meet his parents, see their awesome set-up and crazy cool snakes! He gave us a really nice female SHTCTB that we liked and wanted to get awhile ago. She's settling in right now but we will get some pictures of her as soon as she calms down. SHe's REALLY pretty! Thanks Bret! She's awesome!
