Sick? Impaction?

I have fairly young gecko. I just got him in Jan. I've been noticing his belly is getting bloated and he is not eating and has an extremely red vein going down the length of his body. Does this seem like impaction? He is on tile and temps are correct. I have pictures..I think I'm going to start a warm soak.

Thank you.

That red vein is def. not right but I dont think it is impaction (but im not positive so wait for another answer) I would def. consider taking it to a vet to get that looked at.

That belly just doesn't look "right"... has he been eating normally? When was the last time he did have a bowel movement? I'd try the vet as well, an be prepared for an xray.

Maybe a few days? I thought he was just plump because he ate like a horse.

2-how much and what dose he eat how often?
Ate tons before..has not eaten in about 3 days.

3-how long have you had him(you have him on tile thats good) what was he on before you had him?
Had since january. Was on carpet before.

4- did you get him from a breeder or pet store?
Got him from the pet store I am employed with so I was incharge of his care in store. He was on carpet when he arrived..then was moved to paper towel and removed from the sales floor because he weight dropped drastically after arrival. He gained the weight back and came home with me. He was 100% normal looking until this point.

I clean all my tanks pretty often, about every 2-3 days. I removed poop about 2 or 3 days ago..and there was a small amount (brown and white) in there today.

ok I'm starting to run out of ideas:main_huh:.....mybey you just over fed him, but they will uesaly puk it up if they eat to much so that's probaly not it. dos'nt look mall nurished at all got a fat re-grown tail. I"d say bring it to a vet they know more than I hopefully get a fecal ex. maby an x-ray...he's not a she and just very pregnant???? he did'nt eat a marble right.....just kidding.

Hah. I mean, I just say "he" as a habit. I guess I haven't looked that closely. But, the gecko has never been with other geckos. Well, I mean, not for a few months and that was when it was a wee baby.

I do think maybe I overfed. I'm going to soak and talk to my vet on friday.

You should check out the sex.

When I first saw the second picture (from below), it reminded me of my gecko when she was gravid. I can't seem to find the picture right now, but someone else may have one. I'm just remotely connected, so browsing my photos is a bit difficult from work..

It's still a bit hard to tell because (as of the last timed i weighed the gecko earlier in the month) it was only 22 grams.

Anyway, the vet did rule out egg binding. It is an impaction. And he said to keep soaking him 10 daily one time a day.
