I have a leopard gecko currently, he has stuck eye caps pretty bad and ive been trying to get it off for a while now with no luck, he doesn't want to eat and he seems to have mouth rot now. He looks miserable and weak and its breaking my heart. We don't have the money for a vet right now, what should i do with him? How can i give him to someone that can make him feel better and save him? I dont want to watch him die like this. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums. Sorry about your gecko. Keep soaking the eyes and use tweezers or your fingernails to peel off what you can. If the gecko has mouth rot, it has an infection and needs antibiotics. I understand that you don't have money for a vet, but that's what it's going to take. If you can find a reptile vet, you can see if they'll do a payment plan. Otherwise, you should contact your local herp society to see if they can adopt it, see if there's a (legitimate) reptile rescue. If you do decide to advertise on craigslist, be sure to explain about the gecko's condition and check that whoever adopts it can take it to a vet.
