So remember the eggs? well they have been hatching ever since being chilled. and Since being hatched i have counted them. and from egg to silkworm they are going to be High death rates. But i think Someone didnt count the breeding stock of last laying Right..grr..but before i point fingers. It was 2k normals and 2k zebra silkworms. However it is looking like it was really 1k and 1k. But ahh well. These guys are 26 days old now and about a inch or so long. Now these guys are Really going to start to GROW.​

Now around the the first month of a silkworms life. i clean them. So this is what it looks like after HAND PICKING out 800 NORMAL SILKWORMS.

And then right after HAND PICKING 900 ZEBRA SILKWORMS. lol pretty gross i know but am so used to silkworms i just clean them as fast as i can. more they grow i clean them more and more. Bigger they get bigger mess. "they say" you dont need to clean them that much. However i do!

I was wondering if i should try these for the fun of it. Sounds like a lot of work and food looks expensive. Whats the break down on costs I'm trying to keep the hobby affordable. I also have about 15 full time geckos to feed.
