Yay! I'm glad someone has gotten through to a petshop. I went by PetCo the other day and mentioned to a customer who was buying a Leo that it would be better to keep it on paper towel or newspaper rather than sand (it was like a TINY TINY gecko) and they looked at me like I spoke Japanese. Needless to say, I felt rather...well...mad/upset...I'm sure we all know the feeling .
Anyways, let us know what happens when you go back next time. I love success stories!
I have noticed the petsmarts here seem to be using repticarpet for their baby leos . Still using sand for adults but its a start, wonder if people complained or what.
Chance is doing great. He's eating very well. As a matter of fact he's eating better than my other three ladies. He's already getting a nice little gut and his tail has fattened up nicely. He had his first shed since getting him yesterday and he did well. I don't think he's ever had a moist hide so he loves it now.
He watched tv with me last night. He was tucked in the lip of my shirt while I sat in the recliner and left me a nice present when I looked in there after about an hour.
I couldn't be happier and he's got a personality that makes him a truly special gift.
