I’ve also noticed that my geckos seem to be more enthusiastic at feeding time. I can’t prove it but I think this is due to the smell of the Calcium Plus product. Reptiles in general are very attuned into the smell of their environment and in turn their food items. The Calcium Plus product has a very unique smell, almost like flowers, that I think the geckos are tuning into. When the geckos smell the product it immediately triggers the feeding response. I've had a much higher rate of finger nips with the Calcium Plus product on my fingers than I did with the old supplement. I'm very careful around my big males now!

I laughed when I read that. When i adopted my gecko she was a little on the light side that's why the breeder gave her up, when she came to me I used Calcium Plus from the beginning and she eats like a monster now!. I swear she waits for me by the dish when she's hungry, Lol. I don't know if it is but it sure is something.

It's so true that it sticks!!! I put some on a roach when I was first starting roaches. Sadly she didn't want the roach the first time. A few days later when I tried around I was able to spot the same roach because it was STILL running around with a white coat of powder. I know I started this thread confused but I get it now and I'm happy i tried it. no more supplement hassles or figuring a schedule that I could never get right.

Julie!

I've posted pics of Cotten.:D

Here's my favorite. It's what she does when I have to mist her humid hide.
She doesn't like me messing with her humid hide for whatever reason.

We are QUITE pleased with the Repashy products we have been using.
