ive got a question though...how well does the grout stick to the foam? I know when i coated my background in cement it was a pain trying to get the cement to stick to the foam and it took several coats before it was strong enough. just curious if grout may be an easier way to go for my next project...

The grout stuck just fine, so long as I made sure the surface had been roughened up. Any type of foam forms a skin over it when it's made, and you have to break the skin.

Sorry guys, I got wrapped up in work, but progess is about to resume! I'm redoing the whole tank, and just picked up a new waterbowl, and an awesome grapevine that I'll be including. I've also decided to add a constant humid hide after he shed start to finish in less than 12 hours (going white to done) and having a few problems. When I can catch him, I add a humid hide on a temporary basis til he's done, but this time he finished before I ever had the chance. This way, I don't have to worry about it.
